About me

I am Ricardo Giuseppe Mier Castiglione, born in Munich in 2005.

Cedra started with something fairly small: the wish for a nostalgic games console, rethought. Out of that simple wish, through a lot of reflection and a few realizations, grew something considerably larger — until an entire system of values lay underneath it.

What occupies me most in all this is metacognition: the ability to watch ourselves think. We have it, and we almost never use it. I believe a great deal opens up once we change that.

At the moment I work on Cedra alone, alongside everything else. It moves slowly, but it moves.

What I do not have: a company, a product, a team, a degree in any of this. What I do have: a text thought through to the end, and the willingness to let it be taken apart. If you find a mistake in it, write to me.

One more thing I would rather say myself than have someone discover: the Manifesto was put into words with AI. The thoughts are mine, the structure too, and I checked every sentence and rejected plenty of them. But I would not have found the language for it on my own.
